Jennifer Greiner

Jennifer Greiner (Principal)
With almost twenty years of experience consulting with law firms and their attorneys, Jennifer is a market leader in legal career management. She has established a preeminent reputation for innovative and individualized career and transition counseling and coaching. Jennifer combines a comprehensive knowledge of the industry with expertise in process management and presentation skills training. As a testimony to her success, many of Jennifer’s long-standing clients continue to rely on her for advice concerning attorney development issues and executive coaching.

Before founding Greiner Consulting, Jennifer was a consultant with Suzanne Golden Associates, and went on to develop the legal outplacement practice at BRG Inc. She has made important contributions to the legal community at large, leading workshops and seminars for area law schools and bar associations. In addition, Jennifer volunteers with the Public Service Network of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and Volunteers for Careers.

A member of the Association of Career Professionals International, the International Coach Federation, and the Association for Psychological Type, Jennifer received both her B.A. and M.A. from The University of Dublin, Trinity College.

Joi Bourgeois

Joi Y. Bourgeois, Esq. (Managing Director)
Since joining Greiner Consulting in 2000, Joi has been providing transition counseling, training and coaching for clients. In addition, Joi directs nationwide marketing and business development for the firm. Joi began her career as a transactional attorney at Clifford Chance before joining the corporate practice at Richards Spears Kibbe & Orbe. Later, she was in-house with Dan Klores Communications, a prominent New York public relations firm, having first served as a business development manager for the legal division of Spherion Workforce Architects.

Joi received her B.A. from Northwestern University, M.A. from New York University in France (Graduate School of Arts & Sciences) and J.D. from New York University School of Law. Joi is a member of the New York bar, as well as of the New York City Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers’ Association, the American Bar Association and the New York Women’s Bar Association.

Leslie Hom

Leslie Hom, Esq. (Senior Consultant)
Based in San Francisco, Leslie joined Greiner in 2009, bringing with her over five years experience providing one-on-one career and professional coaching to attorneys and executives.  Leslie began her legal career as an environmental litigator with the Attorney General's Office in Olympia, Washington before moving into the career management field.

Leslie spent three years with Golden Gate University School of Law as a counselor in the Career Services Office where she provided counseling, training and workshops to students and alumni.  In addition to career transition and coaching, Leslie provides expert counseling on career management, project management, leadership and communication skills, and marketing and business development.

She is a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute, a leading program for professional coaches, where she continues to develop her leadership coaching skills.  Leslie is also certified as a facilitator in The Stanford Business School's course on creativity in Business by Professor Michael Ray.
 
Leslie's professional affiliations include the California and Washington bar associations, as well as, the Queen's Bench, and the Asian American Bar Association. A graduate of University of California, Leslie received a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and an LL.M. in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from Lewis and Clark Law School.

Christine Pappas

Christina Pappas, Esq. (Consultant)
Christina joined Greiner Consulting as a counselor and a coach in 2009, working one-on-one with clients and coordinating legal outreach opportunities in the New York metro area and California. Prior, she managed legal recruiting for one of the world's largest firms, where she developed a keen sense of the marketplace and a facility for identifying and strategically placing talent. Christina began her career as an attorney at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton before joining Trucker Huss, a boutique firm in San Francisco.

Christina received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and is a member of the New York, Connecticut and California bars. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Gettysburg College.

Erika Schreiber

Erika Schreiber, Esq. (Consultant)
Erika joined the Los Angeles office of Greiner Consulting in 2009 and offers professional development coaching, career counseling and training to attorneys at all levels. Erika brings to the firm over 10 years of experience in the Los Angeles legal community.  She began her career as an employment attorney, practicing at Graham & James, Greenberg Glusker, and later with Thelen Reid & Priest.  Erika spent three years with USC Law School as the Associate Director for Counseling in the Career Services Office and was most recently the Senior Manager of Recruiting at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker.

Drawing upon her own experience as well as in-depth market knowledge, Erika brings to her work warmth, optimism and a grounded sense of possibility. An engaging speaker and trainer,  Erika has presented programs on alternative legal careers at area law schools and for the National Association for Law Placement. Erika received her B.A. in Psychology from St. Olaf College and her J.D. from the UCLA School of Law.  She is a member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the International Coach Federation and the Association of Career Professionals, International.

Jesse Lurie

Jesse Lurie (Director of Operations)
Jesse joined Greiner Consulting in 2004, and is based in Los Angeles. As Director of Operations, Jesse coordinates and manages our offices nationwide. A skilled logistician, problem-solver, organizational specialist and manager, Jesse acts as the bridge between candidate service and internal operations, bringing a wealth of systems management and client service experience from the legal, finance and entertainment industries.

A native of Southern California, Jesse studied at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Dane Dexheimer

Dane Dexheimer (Consulting Coordinator)
Dane joined Greiner Consulting in 2009 as the Consulting Coordinator, working to facilitate the highest level of service to our clientele.  Dane serves as the liaison between the clients and the consultants, and as an important information resource and point of contact for Greiner Consulting clients throughout our offices. 

Dane began his career in the real estate industry and was most recently working within the health care field. Dane received his B.A. in History from Hunter College and is planning on attending law school in the future.
